When I was a kid, I used to sprawl out on the grass and look up at the clouds. I used to imagine what shapes and magical creatures were moving across the vast expanse of the sky. I did this for hours, and I probably still could.
What seems really daunting, is that generations after me might not know the sky as blue. Future generations might not have the ability to look at the sky, or breath in the air around them.
Climate change is effecting air, soil, and water quality, and all of these effects are making the quality of life, and the experience of life, decline.
I care about my planet, and want to explore the diverse and complicated issues of climate change in more depth, specifically as it relates to indigenous peoples and environmental justice.
This blog is dedicated to just that.
This is just the beginning of my biography! To learn more about me (Claire), click the tab, “Biography” at the top of the page. Thanks for stopping by!
